How much advance time do you need to compose a show? Composing a show is an extremely lengthy process. In general, it takes three (3) times longer for me to compose a show than to arrange one. I prefer that all commissioned compositions be scheduled before February 14 (Valentines Day). My list of recommended designers, arrangers, and choreographers constantly changes.
